Angela Missoni, who took over the creative reigns of Missoni menswear last season wanted to 'go back to the roots of the Missoni man'. That meant the 1970s and 'the coolness of that period'. When working on the line, Missoni pulled out pictures of a young Alain Delon in 'The Pool' - it was a Mediterranean collection if there ever was one, in fact the brand, with its kaleidoscope of colours, jazzy knits and rich prints, is an Italian summer in a box.
