AN ALTERNATIVE TO SUGAR

Have you ever heard about High Fructose Corn Syrup(HFCS)?. I read about HFCS recently in an article and it is really interesting. The HFCS acts like a replacement of sucrose and is another sweet alternative. The large scale production of HFCS was introduced by Japanese in the late 1960s. Later,HFCS gained importance over sucrose in many aspects and formed a significant ground in the sweetener industry. One of the main factor that made HFCS to gain importance over sucrose is its price. They are very much cheaper compared to sucrose and it could be blended and transported easily because of its liquid state.
