AUTUMN LEAVES

"The falling leaves drift by the window; the autumn leaves of red and gold," sang Nat King Cole in 'Autumn Leaves'. The arrival of the new season heralds changing colour—leaves metamorphose into brilliant shades of red, burnished orange, mustard yellow and copper. Reflecting nature's palette, the runways were awash in foliage-inspired hues: Nachiket Barve's rosette-dotted coat covered the spectrum of shades, a luxurious khaki green stood out at Burberry Prorsum, while Tarun Tahiliani went with a deep, burnt crimson.
